Dt. Aycan Işık Taş
Dentist and medical director. Since 2014 she has been seeing patients at Özel DentTEK Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic (Esenyurt / Beylikdüzü, Istanbul); member of the Istanbul Dental Chamber and of the Turkish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (EDAD).
She began her dental education at Yeditepe University and graduated from Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. She has worked at the same clinic since graduation; in 2019–2020 she also practised at Bahçeşehir Dentopia Oral and Dental Health Hospital.
Her continuing education has focused on implantology, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal procedures and advanced surgical techniques, with courses and symposia in Turkey and abroad (Bremen, Los Angeles). Alongside patient care she is responsible for team coordination, clinic workflow and the follow-up of treatment processes. She speaks English.
Approach
How I work
Listening first. What the patient expects and what they are worried about shapes the plan as much as the complaint itself.
Clear information. Findings and options are explained in plain language with their benefits and limits. The decision belongs to the patient; treatment does not start until questions are answered.
Tissue-preserving approach. The aim is a lasting result with the least possible intervention, protecting healthy tooth structure.
Follow-up. The relationship does not end with the treatment; check-ups and home-care advice help keep the result.
